Parallel Data Warehouse - 30/09/2013

Unlike most vendors who opt to provide their high-end appliances for a high price or provide a relational data warehouse appliance that is disconnected from their “Big Data” and/or BI offerings, Microsoft SQL Server Parallel Data Warehouse provides both a high-end massively parallel processing appliance that can improve your query response times up to a hundred times over legacy solutions as well as seamless integration with both Hadoop and the usual business intelligence solutions.

The main topic of the evening will be about the "new" Parallel Data Warehouse (PDW 2.0) and more in particular the alignment with Microsoft’s preferred technology partner HP.

About the speakers:

Corinne Haesaert is an HP pre-sales advocate in the business critical server division, part of HP's enterprise server, storage and network division.
