Frederik Vandeputte, President

Frederik Vandeputte is a Senior Consultant and partner at Kohera, the Microsoft SQL Server/Business Intelligence Competence Center of the Cronos Group.
Frederik has been working with SQL Server since version 6.5. In his free time Frederik collects Microsoft certifications.
His collection includes MCTS, MCSA, MCSE, MCDBA, MCITP, MCT, ranging from Windows 2000 and SQL Server 2000 up to SQL Server 2008.
Frederik is one of the co-founders and the President of the Belgian SQL Server User Group (SQLUG.BE).
In January 2008 Frederik, became the first Belgian MVP on SQL Server.

Nico Verbaenen, Vice President

Nico Verbaenen is a SQL Server DBA, Microsoft BI Specialist and trainer at Axinco and holds a MCDBA certificate. He has been working with SQL Server for about 9 year. The first 3 year more as a developer, the last 6 year the focus is purely only on SQL Server and the last 4 years with a great attraction for the Business Intelligence possibilities within SQL Server.


Davy Knuysen, Secretary

Davy Knuysen is a SQL Server Consultant for Ordina. He has been working with SQL Server since version 2000. 
First as a developer, but today his focus goes to designing and implementing business intelligence solutions, using MS SQL Server 2005. His blog can be found here.  
 

Karim Ourtani, Core-member & Webmaster

Karim Ourtani currently works as a Database Administrator/Programmer at ERGO Life N.V. He has been working with SQL Server Since 1998 (version 6.5).
After working in the Banking Sector in London he moved onto various web projects where SQL server was at the basis of his many web analytics and online marketing projects. Since his return to Belgium he is completely focused on the BI capabilities of SQL Server as well as Database Programming.


Steve Verschaeve, Core-member & Webmaster

Steve Verschaeve is a senior consultant at Kohera, Cronos Group and has been working with SQL Server since 2003. He holds an MCP, MCTS and MCITP certificate in SQL Server and SharePoint. In his day job he currently works on a major ETL project. If he's not working you will find him messing around with SharePoint 2010. His blog can be found here.
 

Valentino Vranken, Core-member

Valentino Vranken is a Senior SQL Server Consultant at Ordina. When he started his career over ten years ago he was developing applications using C++ and SQL Server 7.0. Over the years he gathered experience using various programming languages to manipulate data in SQL Server databases. Nowadays his focus is more on Business Intelligence implementations, still using SQL Server. Valentino is a MCP with one MCITP and three MCTS certifications on SQL Server 2008.

Bart Bultinck, Core-member

Bart Bultinck is a Senior Architeer (architect & engineer). He evolved from formal system engineering towards
product specialist infrastructure services in the field of collaboration. Skills are MS Exchange,Office Communications Server, MS sharepoint Portal server,
MS ISA server and recently MS SQL Server....

Marc Mertens, Core-member

Marc Mertens is a SQL server and dot.net trainer/consultant voor Global Knowledge. He has been working with Sql Server from version 4.x up to version 2008R2.
His Microsoft certifications are MCSA, MCSE, MCDBA, MCAD, MCSD and of course MCT. He worked with the relational part as well as the BI part of SQL Server.  

Peter De Seranno, Founder

For the last 10 years, Peter has been and still is as SQL Server DBA, mainly focussing on IT-pro side but still has a strong affinity for development related aspects (he has more than 5 years experieince i nthe development side of things).
As DBA he has experience on Sql Server 6.5, 7.0, 2000, 2005 and 2008. Peter is now working for De Post and as a consultant for conSuRAN.
