Resource Governor is a new technology in SQL Server 2008 that enables you to manage SQL Server workload and resources by specifying limits on resource consumption by incoming request. In this session you will learn how to define a classifier function, to sort your request in resource groups, that will be assigned to resource pools dividing up your CPU and memory resources. Monitoring of resources used by the resource groups is also covered. If you ever have to full fill service level agreements based on the performance of your queries then this is the session for you.
